Hi everyone,
some of you asked us if it is possible for their guests to connect directly to their Musicbox via a link. Of course it is possible! That is why we have now implemented this for you. From now on you can use the Magic Link of your Musicbox for this.
With the help of the Magic Link, your guests can automatically connect to your Musicbox. If they have not yet installed the mubo app, the link will guide your guests to download the mubo app. After your guests have installed the app, they are connected directly to your Musicbox when the app is started.

Hello everybody,
We recently introduced the Big Screen View. With your Big Screen View you can present your Musicbox on a TV or on a projector. From today you can also integrate your Musicbox into your own website. You can easy do that with an iFrame.
We have created a login area for you so that you have both variants at hand quickly. There you will find the link to your Big Screen View and also the iFrame that you can use to embed the playlist of your Musicbox in your website.

Hi everyone,
surely some of you have noticed that mubo has been offline for three months now. Many of you have also contacted us via email or social media to find out when we are back online. We could never give you an exact time, because the problem was really hard to assess. In addition, our daily job also bothers us a lot, so that the time for mubo still has to be planned along the way.
But what was going on?
Our server provider has changed its systems to a newer Linux version. This is the operating system of the server running mubo. Similar to the operating system on your computer (eg Windows or macOS) Under this version of Linux, our system was no longer running because it was written in an old version of the Swift programming language. So we had to rewrite our entire with a newer version of Swift rewrite to make it run again. The remodeling work was accompanied by various other problems, which cost us a lot of time and nerves.
We’ve been working hard over the last three months to rewrite mubo and bring it back online. Nevertheless, we need your help in testing. Please let us know if something does not work as usual. We really had to change a lot and we need your feedback.

Hi everyone,
in the next few days we will release mubo in version 1.5. With this update, there will be only one mubo app. You can start your own Musicbox using the app or connect to another Musicbox. We will remove the app “Voter” from the App Store and Play Store. The app “Musicbox” receives an update and will be named “mubo”.
What else have we changed?
We’ve redesigned the look of the playlist and media library views. We hope you enjoy the new style as much as we do. In addition to that the owner of the Musicbox can now also vote for songs.

maybe some of you are wondering on what we are currently working. In addition to small improvements in the mubo apps, we are currently working most of the time to bring mubo to as many locations as possible. That’s why we are currently talking to some bars and clubs to integrate mubo there as a Jukebox app.
If you know locations that should definitely use mubo, please let us know. If you own a bar or a club, just contact us. We are happy about every conversation with you.
Of course we also have a lot of cool ideas for the mubo system, but more at a later date.

Hi everyone,
we have an update for your Musicbox. This time we redesigned the playlist selection. Some of you wanted to be able to add individual songs of a playlist to the Musicbox. That’s possible from now on.
In addition to that, we have changed the playlist selection in general. You will see playlists from Spotify and playlists from mubo next to your own Spotify playlists for example. These playlists should help you to get a good basic selection of songs available for your guests.
